Foregoing Designer Strappy Footwear

Since Sex and the City hit the airwaves in the late 90s, we’ve all been a little shoe-obsessed. We’re craving designer footwear like never before, from Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik to Christian Louboutin and Prada.

But let’s face it, most of us don’t have the budget for über expensive footwear. Of all the places, Kmart seems to have the most impressive collection of incredibly low-priced strappy sandals. So if you don’t have a lot of dough, there is still a way to calm that ever-growing strappy sandal shoe fetish. And as far as I’m concerned, strappy is the best way to fake fancy, more expensive footwear; the less fabric, the easier it is.
